hello,

as you've kindly mentioned ROC in the past we thought you might like to know
that we are putting up 12 unreleased tracks for free download from ROC's
myspace page:

http://www.myspace.com/rocuk

the first 2 tracks are up as of today. the full 12 are collectable over 3 weeks,
making a complete album. downloading the full set will reveal the title/track
order and entitle users to artwork and free stuff (details below). the 2 tracks
up today are:

"God Willing (David Brinkworth mix)" is a remix of an early ROC single, by
producer David Brinkworth (Warp Records, Kula Shaker etc). David made 2
versions of 'God Willing' - his orchestral version is on ROC's first album.

"Last King Of Scotland" is an alternative theme to the new film about Ugandan
dictator Idi Amin (who ROC sampled on their album "Virgin"). The film was to be
directed by Tim Pope (of Cure videos fame) who favoured ROC's theme for the
soundtrack, before the project moved to a different production company - we
remain fans of Giles Foden's novel and look forward to the film.

2 new tracks will be up at midday (UK) on Thursday 4 January.

Thanks for your support and we hope your 2007 is better than your 2006

A very Happy New Year to you, and just to show we mean it ROC is offering you a

http://www.myspace.com/rocuk

ALBUM TITLE AND ARTWORK (AND MORE FREE STUFF):
12 tracks will be available for download in pairs, changing every 3.5 days (4
tracks per week), with the entire album collectable over 3 weeks. Each track
has a letter or number spoken at its end - if you download all 12 tracks, the
letters and numbers will make up a title. If you send us a message (either to
this page or to info@rocmusic.com) with the correct title, you will receive in
return a lavish set of artwork to accompany the recordings.

The tracks will continue in rotation until further notice, so you can begin

receive a choice of free cds or vinyl, and the first 10 will have a choice of
special prizes including original artwork, white labels etc!

The next 2 tracks will be up at midday (UK) on Thursday 4 January.

The album comprises completely unheard songs, alternative versions of songs from
previous albums, remixes of ROC by other artists, ROC remixes of other artists,
soundtracks and live performances. The tracks date from the present back to
ROC's first cassette demo in the '80s.
